Anthony Kiedis of RHCP and Girlfriend Had Separated

Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman, Anthony Kiedis, is not feeling the heat anymore with his girlfriend Heather Christie. They reportedly broken up after three-year relationship.

According to lots of sources, the couple had been living apart since June. The 45-year-old vocalist and 22-year-old model already have a son together, born last October, named Everly Bear. He was named after the duo ‘The Everly Brothers’.

As Christie said about the split, “Anthony is a great dad and I will love him forever for giving me the gift of life. I really hope he finds what he’s looking for.” While Kiedis’s spokeperson had no comment on the split.

Even though RHCP is currently on hiatus after their latest album, ‘Stadium Arcadium’, Kiedis is busy with other project. He is organizing the “New American Music Union”, a two-day summer music festival set for August 2008 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Famous names and bands are on the list, such as; Bob Dylan, The Raconteurs, Gnarls Barkley and The Roots.

The band plans to remain on hiatus for “a minimum of one year”, after the announcement on May 2008. But Kiedis has stated that he is anxious to start thinking about new material for their upcoming rejuvenated works. All the best for Kiedis then!
