Solange Gives Jamie Lynn a Few (Teen) Motherhood Tips

As someone who already had the experience, Solange Knowles is giving some advice and tips for Jamie Lynn Spears, soon-to-be teen mom. The younger sister of Beyonce was married to Daniel Smith, a former college football player, and pregnant at the age of 18, back in 2004.

As reported by USMagazine, “I’m sure a lot of people perceived that I was gonna be a young, irresponsible mom. but I think that there are some moms who are 35 who are just as irresponsible”.

Further more she added to Jamie Lynn; “You just have to make the best decisions for you,” Knowles said. “You have to decide what’s best for you. “Who are we to say what’s right and wrong for a person?”

And eventhough she’s now has split with her husband, Solange cherishes David, her son as “the light of my life, the inspiration behind everything”.

Maybe being so young will be a great challenge to raise a child. And it’s not easy, everybody knows that. But I think, it doesn’t stopped you for being a good mother. Hoping all the best for Jamie Lynn, and all the young mothers out there!
