No Wedding Bells for Salma Hayek!

Sad news came from mexican actress, Salma Hayek.

She and her fiance, Francois-Henri Pinault have canceled their engagement, according to Hayek’s rep. As said in a statement, “We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been canceled. There will be no further comment”.

The ‘Bandidas’ actress and Pinault, a French billionaire, first met in Venice in May 2006. They got engaged in March 2007, and Hayek gave birth to a daughter, Valentina Paloma Pinault, on September last year. Although now they already had a daughter, but apparently the cute baby couldn’t be the glue that holds her parents’ relationship together. The couple had ended their 16-month engagement.

Maybe being busy as an executive producer for ‘Ugly Betty’ would be a good mind distraction for Hayek. Afterall, the series had received good responds and she even got an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series at the Emmy Awards last year.
