CSI Las Vegas

It’s sad to see William Petersen will be leaving ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’ pretty soon. It won’t be the same without Grissom, but on a brighter side, that means a seat is open for the new head of CSI in Las Vegas.

The opportunity then revealed by CBS Entertainment President, Nina Tasler, who mentioning several famous names to fill Petersen’s seat. John Malkovich and Laurence Fishburne are among those who had been considered for the role by the network.

A movie in 1999 was titled “Being John Malkovich”, named after the actor (even though the story was not about his real life). He played as John Horatio Malkovich. He was also starred in 2006’s novel-adapted animation movie, Eragon. His latest acting in the big screen is in “Beowulf” with Angelina Jolie.

Another candidate, Laurence Fishburne, gained his fame from ‘The Matrix’. He also once starred and produced “Akeelah and the Bee” in 2006, a film about spelling bee competition. His last acting is in “21″, as a casino security head, opposite Kevin Spacey.

Few other names are also on consideration, and still haven’t got any comments from the actors rep. Who will be the next Grissom? We’ll see…

Damn, I love how William Petersen play his role as Gil Grissom and I don’t think anyone could ever replace him.

I just hope Petersen would reconsider to play again on CSI.

Without Petersen, CSI will never be the same.

No one can ever replace Grissom it would be like CSI New York without Mac taylor or NCIS without Gibbs. It was Grissom who kept me ‘into’ CSI though I did like Sarah and Warrick. Sadly these two have gone also. I hope that Grissom goes off to be with Sarah but with the only three characters that kept me interested in CSI now gone I can’t see myself watching CSI again. It would be like watching a ‘Batman’ movie without Batman!
