Christian Bale Assaulting His Mother and Sister?

Christian Bale might be jumping joys right now, because his latest movie, ‘The Dark Knight’ has crowned the box-office, earning the biggest opening ever, and sit in #1 position in imdb’s ranking.

He must be proud successfully portraying ‘The Dark Knight’ himself, and have a chance to act opposite the late Heath Ledger. But during his busy week doing openings of ‘The Dark Knight’, Bale has been accused of assaulting his mother and sister.

His mother Jenny (61) and sister Sharon (40) claim that this 34-year-old actor lashed out at London’s Dorchester Hotel on Sunday night (7/20). On Monday, the allegation had been filed at a police station in Hampshire, England. But because Bale was promoting ‘The Dark Knight’ in London, the authorities haven’t got the chance to talk to him.

According to a source, “It was a very difficult situation but it would have been wrong to have wrecked the premiere over a complaint which we don’t yet know is founded in truth. But Mr Bale will be contacted at the earliest opportunity and be asked to provide an account of anything that happened.” On the other hand, a police spokesman says, “We can confirm we have received allegation from another force in relation to an alleged incident in central London”.

Hmm… it’s too bad this is happening when ‘The Dark Knight’ is on top of the box office and Bale was (supposedly) in those moments of celebration. But hopefully this problem can be solved nicely, since it’s a family issue, and won’t be a negative effect to his glorious Batman week. We’ll see in the upcoming news.
