Sandra Bullock Got Hit!

The star of Miss Congeniality, Sandra Bullock and her husband, Jesse James, were hit friday night (4/18) on East Main Street in this seaside town (Gloucester, MA.) by a drunken driver.

The couple were being driven in a rented black 2008 Chevy SUV by their driver, Mark Hussey (55), to their hotel in Eastern Point at around 11 PM when a gray Subaru Forester veered into his lane.

Lucille P. Gatchell (64), was the driver of that gray Subaru, she was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay in marked lanes, according to the police report. Her blood alcohol level was .20, more than twice the legal limit.

Thank God no one was injured, but both cars were towed. Sandy being a caring person, was told by police officer Kevin Mackey, who responded to the scene, “Mrs. Bullock was very personable and was concerned for (Gatchell’s) well-being.”

Later on, he -The Gloucester Police Lt.- added, “They were fine – he was hugging her. Jess and Sandra were hugging. They said they were fine, they didn’t need medical attention. There were quite a few people snapping pictures of them.”

Sandy, who is known for her character in blockbuster movie Speed, or as an undercover agent Miss Congeniality, has been in the area to shoot her upcoming flick titled “The Proposal.”

Hmm… where’s Keanu Reeves when you need not only Speed (and definitely not some drunken driver), but also hotness??
