Amy Adams Officially Engaged

The princess has finally found her prince!

Amy Adams, who starred as the princess from Andalasia in the movie ‘Enchanted’, is engaged to her boyfriend of six years, actor Darren Legallo. The couple first met on an acting class, back in 2001. And then began dating after a year of friendship.

Adams once said about her future husband, “It’s really important to have someone to remind you who you are. I’ll run all over but come back to him, and I know who I am”.

And she also shared her admirations towards the 34-year-old actor, “He’s really special. I’m really lucky because he’s not competitive with me. He supports and embraces my success as mine. And he has his own goals for himself, but he never makes my success his failure”.

Adams’ career is progressing, and she once got Oscar-nominated for the movie ‘Junebug’. In the next project, ‘Doubt’, she will play a nun opposite Meryl Streep, planned to be released in December. She will also play as an female icon in aviation world, Amelia Earhart, in the “Night at the Museum 2: Escape from the Smithsonian”, the sequel from one of Ben Stiller’s box office movie.

It was reported that Legallo proposed to Adams with a diamond by French jewelry designer Jean Dousset of Beverly Hills, and they plan to marry sometime next year. Well, congratulations both!
