The “Ugly Betty” actress, Rebecca Romijn and her husband, Jerry O’Connell are expecting twins as their first children.

Romijn who played as ‘Mystique’ in all X-Men’s movie installment is finally blessed with not one, but two girls (reportedly) from her second marriage now. Previously married to John Stamos, 35-year-old Romijn announced her engagement with O’Connell back in September 2007. O’Connell proposed to Romijn during a trip to New York, then they were married on July 15, 2007.

Just weeks ago, the couple talked to media about “trying to get pregnant”, and now their wishes came true. An insider told PEOPLE that the twins were conceived without the help of in vitro fertilization or the fertility drug Clomid. The babies, who will be first children for both, are due this winter.

Besides filming ‘Ugly Betty’, Romijn was once shot scenes together with O’Connell in the series ‘Carpoolers’. Romijn played the ex-wife of the character Laird, played by O’Connell. Thankfully, for them, being an ex is only in the series.

Romijn and O’Connell will be following fellow celebrities’ footsteps who already blessed with having twins. From Julia Roberts, Marcia Cross, Jennifer Lopez, and to the latest Jolie-Pitt, they’re all having twins. Double the joy! Congratulations parents-to-be!
