Amy Winehouse Rushed to the Hospital Last Night
Yesterday night, british soul singer Amy Winehouse was rushed to a London hospital Monday night after suffering an adverse reaction to medication. This is her second visit to the hospital within only a few months time.
The singer’s spokesman, Chris Goodman said, an ambulance took Winehouse from her north London home to University College Hospital in Bloomsbury. And then the information added by Tracey Miller, Winehouse’s U.S.-based publicist, “Doctors have advised that she will be kept under observation overnight and is likely to be released tomorrow”.
In June, the diva who’s known for her beehive trademark was admitted to a London clinic after collapsing at home. Her father Mitch Winehouse said at the time she had developed early stage emphysema from smoking cigarettes and crack cocaine, but clarified by her rep by saying that the Grammy winner was showing early stage symptoms of the chronic respiratory disease. But Winehouse then looked healthy enough to perform at Nelson Mandela’s 90th-birthday extravaganza and England’s Glastonbury festival last month.
Earlier this month, her husband Blake Fielder-Civil was sentenced to 27 months in jail for assault and obstructing justice. Fielder-Civil admitted beating up pub manager James King in a barroom fight in 2006 and then offering him $400,000 to keep quiet about it.
Did Winehouse’s health is degenerating following her beloved Blake jail time? Could be, and added by her bad habit, this result is inevitable.
Take care of yourself, please?! You’re too talented (and supposedly too smart) from destructing your ownself Amy, for God sakes!
