Snoop Dogg’s Crew Got Busted

It was a lucky day for Snoop Dogg.

On Thursday, the rapper’s tour bus was pulled over and two people were arrested on marijuana possession charges, according to a spokesman for the Texas Department of Public Safety. It happened just a few hours before a concert in Dallas.

Authorities said that officers pulled the bus over on Route 45 in Corsicana, about 52 miles south-southeast of Dallas, where the group was on its way from Houston to Dallas, for possibly having expired registration. It was actually only a routine traffic stop, until they cops smelled “marijuana.”

The search turned up two ounces of pot belonged to two members of rapper’s entourage; Ethan Calhoun, 27, and Kevin Barkey, 26. They were arrested on drug charges, but their employer is not involved.

As said by Snoop’s manager, Constance Schwartz, “Snoop was not arrested. Snoop continues to enjoy touring with 311 on the Unity Tour.” The two crews then taken to the nearby Navarro County Jail and booked on charges of misdemeanor possession.

Well, even though Snoop is a familiar name with misdemeanors, but this time he’s clean and nothing to do with the pot. Make it stay that way, Dogg!
