Verne ‘Mini-Me’ Troyer Sues His Ex-Girlfriend in the Sex Tape

Verne ‘Mini Me’ Troyer is still not done with the sex tape issue yet.

After fighting for the tape to be not shown all over the world last June, the actor is now taking the next step. He sued his ex-girlfriend, Ranae Shrider, for $20 million, claiming she allowed snippets of the tape to be released, just like we reported before.

This new lawsuit filed Thursday in U.S. District Court, is a follow-up from his previous lawsuit which had settled with a porn distributor and broker to blocked the release of the 50-minute tape of him and Shrider having sex.

The sex tape was first reported by TMZ.com, which lead to a lawsuit filed by the ‘Austin Powers’ actor against the website. and then the case’s growing and growing, resulted in many lawsuits and court times.

Even though Troyer is doing everything he can to stop the invasion of his privacy matters including filed a lawsuit against Shrider, but according to Shrider’s attorney, Keith Davidson, none of the defendants had been served with the lawsuit and attacked it for being leaked to celebrity gossip site TMZ before it was officially filed.

Davidson said, “The recently revealed lawsuit that was sheepishly leaked to the press by Troyer’s attorney is an abomination of the legal process.” He also claimed Troyer was being “vindictive, heartbroken” and is a “trivial celebrity” who filed the suit to keep his name in the limelight.

39-year-old Troyer is asking a federal judge to grant a temporary injunction, barring Shrider and others from trying to sell the tape. Troyer is also seeking the return or destruction of all copies of the video. Troyer’s attorney, Ed McPherson, has said that the actor will pursue all possible legal action to keep the tape from being sold.

A moral lesson for everybody: do not taped something that you don’t want anybody else to see it, or find a really really safe and secret place to hide your private pictures or videos to avoid you from dealing with all of this mess. Fight Mini-Me! Fighttt!!
