Eva Mendes’ sexiness is definitely an attraction, but also a distraction for TV viewers. And apparently in one commercial, her sexiness is considered too hot for TV!

Latest Calvin Klein’s commercial for perfume “Secret Obsession”, starring Eva Mendes has set U.S. television networks on the heat. U.S. broadcast networks are refusing to air the commercial for the CK fragrance, where almost bare Mendes was seen rolling around on an unmade bed, while seductively whispers, “Between love and madness lies obsession, Love…madness. It’s my secret”.

The commercial itself was considered ‘allowed’ actually, but there’s one little problem that made it failed to launch. It was the hint of a nipple seen at one point as Mendes caresses her own chest.

President and chief operating officer of Calvin Klein Inc., Tom Murry, expressed his little surprise about the networks’ decision, “We believe the commercial is exceptional and hits the mark for Secret Obsession. We are anticipating a very successful global launch.” He also added that the network ban is “not entirely a surprise for the U.S. market”.

But then, in terms to make everybody happy, the company has created a cleaner and edited version of the Ad. So now we eventually could see the commercial, even though it can only air on networks after 9 p.m. Phew! That’s better!
