Morgan Freeman Released From Hospital

Lucius Fox in “The Dark Knight”, Morgan Freeman, was discharged Thursday from Regional Medical Center in Memphis after treated for broken bones and other injuries, also undergoing surgery sustained in a car crash earlier this week.

Freeman’s spokesman, Ken Sunshine said, “He was released today at noon local time and is now resting comfortably”.

Another sad news also coming from Freeman this week, but not about his accident. He and his wife of 24 years, Myrna Colley-Lee, were reported had been separated since December and are getting a divorce. The news first came from the actor’s lawyer, Bill Luckett who has been quoted in several newspapers Thursday, but he did not give further details.

It was also rumored that the passenger on the 1997 Nissan Maxima that crashed, 48-year-old Demaris Meyer, maybe more than ‘just a friend’. Whether it’s a coincidence or not, but it seems like Freeman is running out of luck.
