Brad Pitt Will be One of the “Bastards”

Besides busy being a father to six children, Brad Pitt is not forgetting his acting career, of course.

He has agreed to join in Quentin Tarantino’s latest project, “Inglorious Bastards”. Pitt will play as Lt. Aldo Raine, the head of the Jewish resistance in the movie about World War II. Pitt’s character is a Southern rebel who leads a band of eight Jewish American soldiers as they exact vengeance on Nazis in German-occupied France.

British actor Simon Pegg is also in discussions to join the cast, and will play as a British lieutenant. While Nastassja Kinski is going to play a part of a German actress.

The movie’s producer, Lawrence Bender said the combination of Pitt and Tarantino, who have never worked together as actor and director, will accomplish unique results. “They’re going to push each other and really help make something special,” he said.

Bender also added that “It’s going to be a nine-month sprint marathon,” because the company expecting to finish the movie in time for a debut at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

Tarantino’s projects had always been exciting movies to be waiting for, because he had such unique directing style, which resulted in great critically-acclaimed movies; such as the phenomenal “Pulp Fiction” and “Kill Bill”. Well, this one might be even better because Brad Pitt is on it.
