Peaches Geldof Tied the Knot With Max Drummey

The daughter of British rocker and Live Aid organizer Sir Bob Geldof, Peaches Geldof, married Max Drummey, an American rocker, Tuesday last week (8/5) at A Little White Chapel in Las Vegas.

The 19-year-old socialite’s wedding was quiet (and quite a secret), said a statement released yesterday by her publicist, detailed, “The couple tied the knot in a simple low-key ceremony in Las Vegas last week, while holidaying in America. Peaches first met Max, 23, a Harvard graduate in anthropology, two years ago. Max’s band, Chester French, played at the ITV iTunes festival, where Peaches was a co-presenter of the show. Their marriage has the full support of their family and friends. Peaches and Max did not want unnecessary publicity, but following growing media speculation, have decided to set out the facts”.

Drummey’s rep also released a statement Tuesday saying, “Peaches and Max Drummey are delighted to announce their very happy marriage”.

Previously, Peaches has linked to many celebrity boyfriends, including Donny Tourette, Frederick Blood-Royale and Joe Van Moyland. Her latest beau before the marriage was Faris Badwan of band “The Horrors”.
