The heiress hasn’t done yet with the buzz from McCain’s presidential ad campaign, and her video respond to McCain still a favorite on the web, but her name is on the headlines, again. Well, it’s no wonder, Paris Hilton is always in the news!
Worldwide Entertainment Group Inc. filed the lawsuit Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Miami, alleging the 27-year-old model-actress-heiress owes $75,000 in damages for not fulfilling promotional obligations. She was sued for breach of contract, charging that she didn’t come through after being paid $1 million to star in and promote “National Lampoon’s Pledge This!”.
According to the lawsuit, Hilton entered into an agreement in 2004 for the production and distribution of the movie. She starred in the film as sorority queen Victoria English, and received credit as an executive producer. The straight-to-DVD comedy came out in December 2006, with Hilton’s face plastered across the cover, indicating that she was a major part of the film. But apparently, her participation to promote the movie was not ‘Hot’.
Hilton already had her name famous from reality TV series The Simple Life, she also had appeared in several movies, such as Bottoms Up, The Hottie & the Nottie and House of Wax. Her future projects include appearing in the movie musical “Repo! The Genetic Opera” and the tentatively titled MTV reality series “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF”.
The blonde beauty’s rep didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment. Oh oh Paris, you made a deal but you failed it.
