Madonna Suited Up by Givenchy For Her Tour!

Madonna’s “Sticky and Sweet” tour guaranteed gonna be more glamorous with the haute-couture costumes from Givenchy that the diva will be wearing.

French fashion house Givenchy says it is to dress Madonna for her upcoming world tour, as said by Givenchy’s spokeswoman, Caroline Deroche-Pasquier. In an e-mail Tuesday, she said venerated label Givenchy Couture has made the pop star two ensembles.

One of the outfits will be donned during Madonna’s opening number, a coat dress in black stretch satin, keeping in line with the fashion house’s dark and gothic bent. The second of the Givenchy-provided outfits, a Gypsy-inspired long cape worn over a black dress embellished with colored ribbons, will make its debut during the concert’s third act.

It’s unclear if other fashion houses or designers will also dress the star for the tour, although it has been rumored that Yves Saint Laurent and Stella McCartney will also participate for her additional tours. The blonde singer who’s going to be 50 in two days, has a long history of working with French designers.

Jean-Paul Gaultier provided the wardrobe for 1990’s Blonde Ambition tour, he was the one behind the pointy cone bras that were the hallmarks of Madonna.

The “Sticky and Sweet” world tour which held to promote her latest album “Hard Candy”, will starts in Cardiff August 23. Be there! Not ‘4 minutes’ too late, okay?!
