The top 6 has been narrowed down to 5 this week, by sending home the Irish girl, Carly Smithson. Their performances on Tuesday night are singing tunes of Andrew Lloyd Webber, the famous name on Broadway. Although Carly herself giving a great performance, and got praised by the judges (even Simon), but apparently it doesn’t help smoothen her way to Top 5 next week.

Before the result come in, the other contestant who was predicted will be going home is Brooke White, because of her ‘fudging moment’ at the beginning of her performance singing “You Must Love Me”, populared by Madonna for her movie “Evita”. But it seems America still love her more than Syesha Mercado, who joined Carly in the Bottom 2.

After a pinoy, Ramiele Malubay heads home, also an aussie native, Michael Johns couldn’t survive the elimination, there goes Carly Smithson from Ireland. So now those in the Top 5, there are nobody else represent their origin birth background outside United States of America.

More and more exciting each week, as we only weeks away to have the new American Idol. Will it be David Cook, who’s awesome on his version of Mariah Carey’s Always Be My Baby? Or David Archuleta, who already stole many hearts from the audition? Or Jason Castro with his dreadlock style? Or two more girls left, Brooke White & Syesha Mercado. Who will it be? Keep on watching!
