Clay Aiken

Clay Aiken (AOLCDN)

He was just becoming a new parent, but Clay Aiken is already geared up for another Broadway performance.

The American Idol runner-up will take to the stage in “Monty Python’s Spamalot” again this September, reprising his role of Sir Robin. His run will last from September 19 through January 4.

Aiken first joined the Tony Award-winning musical early this year, for a 4-month run, ending on May 4, 2008. Besides playing as ‘Sir Robin’, the 29-year-old singer also played the 1st Sentry, the 1st Guard and the Brother Maynard roles.

Aiken’s definitely has his hands full this year. He’s doing Broadway, releasing an album, and having baby! Aiken’s latest album, “On My Way Here” was released May 6, 2008. It got pretty good acceptances, especially from his loyal fans.

His son, Parker Foster Aiken, was born at exactly 8:08 am on August 8, 2008. The baby will be raised by Aiken and the mother, his dear friend/music producer, Jaymes Foster.

I bet being a new father is the most busy ‘job’ he has right now. hehehe… Keep on busy Clay!
