Amanda Bynes Involved in Minor Car Accident

Star of “Sydney White”, a 1997’s sorority comedy, Amanda Bynes was reported got into a minor car accident Saturday afternoon (8/23) in Los Angeles, police confirmed. As told by LAPD Sgt. Murrel Pettway, “Ms. Bynes was driving a BMW when she made an unsafe turn and another car hit her. It was determined that she was at fault, but no crime was committed.”
Besides no major injuries from the accident, Sgt. Pettway also added, “The other driver complained of minor injuries. Drugs and alcohol were not involved. It was just a typical car accident. There was no serious damage to either vehicle”. Thank God!
Amanda Bynes who also appeared on last year’s musical film “Hairspray” with John Travolta was previously known from the Nickelodeon’s All That. Bynes host her own “The Amanda Show”, also on Nickelodeon. This 22-year-old debut was in 2002’s modest box office success, “Big Fat Liar”, where she played opposite Frankie Muniz.
Not only active in acting field, Bynes is also a designer. She created her own fashion line, “Dear”, consisting of apparel and accessories. In 2007 Bynes signed a five year deal with Steve & Barry’s, and the line were launched in store August last year. Every piece in the line is priced at $19.98 or less. Quite affordable for her line’s aim, teen fashionista.
Several of her next projects, Bynes will appear in the Lifetime Television movie “Living Proof” as the student assistant of Harry Connick Jr.’s character, who creates the Herceptin drug for breast cancer. She is also rumored to appear in her first independent feature “Bumped” by Lizzy Weiss, the writer of “Blue Crush”.
