Christina Aguilera Launches New Perfume Named Inspire

Christina Aguilera is not only a successful singer, she is now a -quite successful- perfume creator.

Aguilera has just launched her latest fragrance, “Inspire” last Tuesday, in front of two hundred lucky fans at N.Y.C.’s Macy’s flagship. Some of her loyal fans even had camped out since Sunday, just to be there at the launching.

Aguilera signed more than two hundred bottles of the scent, and chatted with fans in Macy’s jam-packed Beauty Arcade, of course with her hits “Lady Marmalade” and “Dirrrty” played in the background.

Inspire is Aguilera’s third fragrance, after Xpose and Simply Christina. The first one, Xpose was released in late 2004 and had warm welcome. While Simply Christina that was released last year, became the number one perfume in the UK and Germany around Christmas 2007. The perfume also won as the people’s choice for favorite celebrity fragrance at the annual UK Fifi Awards 2008.

“Inspire” was released accompanied with a body care collection, and this will be Aguilera’s first fragrance released outside of Europe. You can get Aguilera’s Inspire at every Macy’s department stores, or buy online at www.macys.com.
