The Burglar Who Stole Kirsten Dunst’s Stuff Got Sentenced to Jail

Kristen Dunst had finally got her justice. A guy accused of stealing the actress’s stuff got what he deserves.

33-year-old Jarrod Beinerman was sentenced to four and a half years in jail after pleading guilty to attempted burglary in connection with the theft of a $13,000 Balenciaga bag, an iPod and various other goodies from Dunst’s suite last year at the Soho Grand Hotel in Manhattan.

The incident happened on August 2007, at the hotel’s penthouse where Dunst was staying while in town to film scenes from the comedy “How to Lose Friends & Alienate People”. Pleading to the lesser charge allowed Beinerman to avoid more serious counts of burglary and grand larceny. According to defense attorney Mitchell Elman, while not copping to any thievery, the offender “admitted being in the hotel”.

A spokeswoman for the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office also added at the time that security cameras caught two men leaving the hotel’s penthouse.

Beinerman was arrested shortly afterward during a court hearing on unrelated charges. Apparently Beinerman already had a history of misdemeanors, he had served three years in prison for his role in a cocaine ring. His accomplice has not been identified.

Good news for Dunst, we’re happy for her. No more burglary or any crimes happened again, hopefully.
