Angelina Jolie is Having Postpartum Depression

It is definitely not easy being a mother. Angelina Jolie is struggling right now.

After the birth of Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline on July 12, Jolie is reportedly suffering from postpartum depression. The twins were diagnosed with colic, a common condition where babies cry excessively for no apparent reason. And because of that, Jolie is having trouble to deal with her uncontrollable mood swings.

According an insider, “Angelina slips into depression mode all the time. She has been trying to control her emotions around her older children but her mood swings have been hard on the entire family. She has been staying in bed most of the time, all she does is sleep. She has little energy and has to force herself to remember to eat because she is still breast feeding. She cries at the drop of a hat and laughs at inappropriate times”.

The Jolie-Pitts have been staying in Chateau Miraval in Provence, France, since the birth of the twins. Jolie try her best to maintain her mood swings, to keep it normal in front of the other children.

Meanwhile, she is also reportedly quite upset with her beau, Brad Pitt, who plans to attend Italy’s Venice International Film Festival to promote his new movie ‘Burn After Reading’. Still not clear whether the unhappy feeling had something to do with the mood swings, or is it because there are news about Pitt’s ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, who will also attend Venice International Film Festival. Aniston will be there to promote her latest comedy flick, “Management”.

A source added, “Angelina feels that Brad has it easy. He had the kids without the pain of birth, and he can just jet off whenever he feels like it”.

Hmm… the pair should have a good conversation about all of this. Poor Jolie if she had to struggle without Pitt always on her side. Hopefully Jolie will soon be healthy and happy, and the couple’s relationship will always be okay. Come on Jolie-Pitts, light that spirit up!
