Cute dance star from the movie “Step Up”, Channing Tatum popped the question to his girlfriend Jenna Dewan last Friday (9/5).

Tatum definitely knows smooth moves, not only in movies, proven by what he did when he asked Dewan to marry him in Maui. The couple were on holiday, and then Tatum invited their close friends to the island to witness the proposal, without the bride-to-be’s acknowledgement. The 28-year-old actor presented a ring by Neil Lane.

Tatum met 27-year-old Dewan on the set of the hit dance movie “Step Up” in 2006, and started dating after the film wrapped, eventhough they has always remained coy about their dating life. Once asked about Dewan, Tatum only said, “She’s so incredibly sweet”.

Tatum also once shared what his dream girl should be like, “someone who doesn’t take herself too seriously and can be a goofball. Because everyone’s a nerd inside, I don’t care how cool you are”.

Hmmm…, I think he already found one. Congratulations both, let’s hear those wedding bells soon!
