Natasha Bedingfield is Engaged

British pop singer Natasha Bedingfield is getting married to her boyfriend, Matt Robinson.

The “Unwritten” singer announcing her engagement to Robinson at a surprise performance at NYC’s Hiro Sunday night that she’d accepted his proposal earlier that day. And when asked while attending Calvin Klein 40th anniversary party, Bedingfield said about the engagement, “It just happened. But I am so excited, and it happened in New York. And I want to share it with the world”.

26-year-old Bedingfield didn’t have too many more details to share. “We haven’t thought about a date,” she said. “We’re just celebrating”.

The couple had been together for two years. In a magazine interview last May, Bedingfield shared her love life and happiness. She said, “What should I say about him? I’m in love! He’s a business man, and it really is a good balance for my career because he’s always a solid rock that I just feel very comfortable with, and I feel very loved”.

“I was single for a long, long time and I kind of went down kicking and screaming because I liked my single-ness, but he was someone definitely worth giving up being single for”, she added.

Natasha is Daniel Bedingfield’s younger sister. Daniel was famous for his hits “If You’re Not The One” in 2002. Both Natasha and Daniel share the Guinness World Record for being the only siblings to have had solo number-ones in UK chart history.

She once sang a song entitled “Single” in her first album, talking about a girl who loves being single. But this time, she has found a man who she can sing “I Wanna Have Your Babies” to. Congrats to the couple!
