Lauren Conrad
Star of MTV reality show “The Hills”, Lauren Conrad can add author in her resume now.
As announced by HarperCollins Publishers yesterday, the 22-year-old cutie has signed a book deal for a young adult fiction series based on her own transformation from regular California teen to celebrity darling.
The three-book fiction series will be titled “L.A. Candy,” telling story of a young woman who moves to Los Angeles and unexpectedly becomes the star of a reality television show. Sounds familiar? Of course, the book is loosely inspired by the writer’s own transformation from teenager to reality TV star and fashion designer.
Conrad, alongside Audrina Patridge, Heidi Montag and others, have become an instant Hollywood celebrities, thanks to the popular two-year-old TV show.
Besides being a TV personality, Conrad tried another job field, became a fashion designer. Even though the result was not huge, but her line got pretty warm welcome from fans and fashionistas.
Looks like Conrad never bored trying something new, good example for those youngsters out there. Best of luck on becoming an author, dear!
