Being a busy actress, a devoting wife and a loving mother, didn’t make Nicole Kidman forget to contribute in the field that she loves. As we quoted from People, Kidman is reportedly will sponsor awards for best male and best female actor at the upcoming “Tropfest NY,” an event honoring achievement in short filmmaking.

It was started when festival founder and director John Polson met the Australian-born actress. “I went to her a week or two ago, saying we were doing the festival here, and I wanted to give the best actor and actress a great prize and how did she feel about it. She generously decided to help out,” said Polson.

Kidman’s donation will be presented to both best actors at Lower Manhattan’s World Financial Center Plaza on Sept. 26, with the possibility of Kidman herself attend the event and present the awards is still being confirming. Hopefully she can make it.

41-year-old Kidman and husband Keith Urban are now a proud parents of 2-months-old daughter, Sunday Rose. She is still busy as the highest-paid actress, and currently filming “Nine”, a musical film directed by Rob Marshall.

Urban himself was just releasing his latest single “You Look Good in My Shirt” last month. The song was the first single from Keith Urban’s re-recorded 2007 album, “Greatest Hits: 18 Kids.” The album was released under a different title, “Greatest Hits: 19 Kids.” Well, a busy and happy family that is!
