Shannen Doherty Will Continue Her Role on 90210

Still remember the premiere of “90210″ a few weeks ago? There are familiar faces of Brenda Walsh and Kelly Taylor on the show.

While Jennie Garth is very open about her thoughts joining the new series, Shannen Doherty is on the other side, she’s playing a bit “hard to catch”. But if you’re one of Brenda’s fans, worry no more. You still had the chance to see much more of her.

Doherty’s spokesman, Gary Mantoosh said, “Shannen signed on for four episodes, which she has shot. It was Shannen’s way of thanking her fans. If the CW comes back with an offer for additional episodes, she’s happy to consider it.” In a statement released Friday, the series said it would “love for her to do more” and there’s “definitely” a possibility that could happen.

The series tells a story about Brenda returns to the old-but new zipcode and to the alma mater West Beverly High as a theater success who’s agreed to direct a school musical. Her ‘rival’, Kelly Taylor, was also back to ‘90210′, and is a guidance counselor on West Beverly High. Jennie Garth as Kelly Taylor had agreed to add five more episodes to the six she’s already filmed.

Hooray to Brenda and Kelly! This will add more excitements on the new series, don’t you think?!
