Ellen DeGeneres Is The New Face Of CoverGirl

Ellen DeGeneres is celebrating so much on her life right now. Her popular talkshow just starting a new season, she’s now finally married to Portia, and another thing to celebrate, as she announced it on Tuesday’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

The talkshow host talked to her audience, “You know how I always like to share what’s going on in my life with you all, and I was going to give you some news and, unfortunately, rumors started circulating all over the Internet”. The funny woman continued, “I am here to set the record straight right now. I am not pregnant. It just turned out to be a bump. I went and had it checked out”.

After the joke, came out the real announcement: “I am the new face of CoverGirl.” DeGeneres then striking an exaggerated model-like pose, explains, “That’s the first thing they teach you when you’re a CoverGirl”.

50-year-old DeGeneres has signed on as the latest face of CoverGirl Cosmetics and will star in a new print and commercial ad campaign that’s rolling out in January. As she said, “We were going to let you know [in January], but somehow people found out about it”.

The Emmy-winning daytime queen also showed off a picture of her, mid-touchup, during a recent photo shoot. She shared the experience, “They’re putting some lip liner on me—man they love lip liner, I got hours and hours”. She then added, “[The makeup artist] was just there for lip liner. I am very, very excited about it. It’s a very cool thing, I’m honored, and the photo shoot was ‘Easy, Breezy, Beautiful, CoverGirl.’ ”
