Miley Cyrus Won’t Be Leaving Hannah Montana Soon

Miley Cyrus Will Still be on Hannah Montana For Quite Sometimes
Disney princess Miley Cyrus is shooting down rumors that has been spread this couple of days on the Internet about she’s leaving “Hannah Montana” production.
The teen star said it herself, “I am fully committed to Hannah Montana. It’s what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people”. She also added, “I couldn’t do it alone. We have an amazing cast that is so supportive, including my dad who has been there for me every step of the way”. Cyrus’s comments followed a weekend report on celebrity website TMZ.com that Cyrus was trying to get fired by showing up late on set, stalling production and infuriating the cast and crew.
An insider from the show said, “Miley is really devoted to the show and she’s really upset by the gossip. Miley is never late to work. Every minute of her day is planned out. When she’s not shooting the movie or the series, she’s recording the [Hannah Montana] soundtrack. She has a lot invested in Hannah Montana. It’s not going away any time soon”.
There were also rumors of a rift between Miley and her costar Emily Osment. According to Patti McTeague, a Disney spokeswoman for the “Hannah Montana” show, reports of on-set turmoil were “absolutely not true, pure gossip”. A source close to the 15-year-old actress also disagreed on the rumors, saying, “It’s a lot of craziness”. On set “they’re like a big family,” says the source. “Emily and Miley are like sisters. Occasionally they have disagreements but they make up and they never let it effect their work”.
Disney Channel’s McTeague later added that Cyrus and the “Hannah Montana” team have been in production for a third season of the show, and that Disney has an option for a fourth season. “We’re thrilled with it, and we know everyone’s working hard, and Miley herself has said she’s committed to the long-term success, as are we”, McTeague said.
Starting in November, new episodes will start airing including one in which “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Cody Linley will return as Miley’s on-screen ex-boyfriend Jake Ryan. The singer of ‘7 Things’ shared her thoughts, “I’m really excited about our new season. We are making great new episodes that I can’t wait for our fans to see, and I’m looking forward to the Hannah Montana movie that will be out in the spring”.
Disney confirmed that the release of the highly anticipated Hannah Montana: The Movie has been bumped up by several weeks. Originally scheduled for release on May 1, the film will now hit screens on April 10.
Cheer up Miley, gossips always come and go. Good thing Hannah Montana is keep going. Phew!
