DJ AM Has Been Released From The Hospital

DJ AM Starting to Recover From the Crash
After being treated for several days, a rep for the celebrity disc jockey said on Friday that DJ AM has been released from a Georgia hospital. This 35-year-old spinner is already back in his Los Angeles home.
Jenni Weinman, spokeswoman for the DJ whose real name Adam Goldstein, said in a statement, “Adam Goldstein has been released from Doctors Hospital. While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide. We ask that you continue respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends”.
DJ AM and former Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker were the only survivors of the Learjet crash that was happened just before midnight Sept. 19. They were rushed immediately to the nearby Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia, because both of them suffered second- and third-degree burns to their upper body and head. The crash that was said caused by a blown tire killed a pilot, a co-pilot and two other passengers who were close friends of the musicians.
Doctors have said they expect both men to fully recover, even though according to the head of the burn hospital, it can take up to one year to heal completely. Now that DJ AM has been released from the hospital, Barker was also expected to be released soon.
