Heath Ledger truly loves his daughter, Matilda Rose.

In a report by Perth’s Sunday Times, his love was shown from the will that the late actor left, that said that his two-year-old daughter Matilda Rose will inherit his entire estate, estimated to be worth 20 million dollars (16.6 million US). Ladger had also named his parents and sisters as the beneficiaries in his will.

The will that was made before Matilda was born, has been probated behind closed doors at the Supreme Court in Perth. There had been speculation that Ledger’s former fiancée and Matilda’s mother, actress Michelle Williams would lodge a claim, but Ledger’s father Kim has put an end to such speculation, revealing that Matilda will inherit the lot. “There is no claim. Our family has gifted everything to Matilda”, Kim Ledger said.

In the will, the Australian-born actor listed just 145,000 Australian dollars in assets and cash when it was drawn up in 2003, but the “Casanova” star’s estate is now believed to be worth more than 20 million dollars.

Ledger died at 28, last January in his apartment from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. He left many fans saddened by the lost, but also left memories of his incredible acting behind. On his early years in Hollywood, Ledger once starred in a teen romantic movie, “10 Things I Hate About You”. Among his role in the movies, he was famously known for his role as a gay cowboy in Ang Lee’s “Brokeback Mountain”. But then when he appeared as Joker in the latest Batman movie “The Dark Knight”, it was like, the best of Heath Ledger.

He will always be remembered as a great actor, and definitely a loving father that passed away too soon. God Bless little Matilda!
