Kevin Costner and His Country-Rock Band will Release Their Debut Album

Kevin Costner
Kevin Costner’s heart apparently not only in acting industry, but also in the music industry. And unlike Costner’s role long time ago, Robin Hood, who uses bow and arrow as weapon, the real Costner uses his voice as the weapon.
The “Mr. Brook” star will finally making his dream come true, because he and his country-rock band, Modern West, will release their first album in November this year. The actor who take part as the lead singer has been playing music with some of his band mates for nearly 20 years, and this time they’re making some real recordings.
The band was actually started its path to enter music business a long time ago, but got stalled because of Costner’s rising career in movies. But this past few years, 53-year-old Costner devoted more of his time to music, saying, “I remember looking out into the crowd, thinking, ‘This just feels right’”.
The band’s album features 12 original songs, including six songs co-written by Costner. Several tracks will be available to country radio this week and the album scheduled to be release November 11. The band also plans to tour later this year and into 2009.
Busy time for Mr. Costner and his mates, but definitely worthed. Heck, what busy could interrupt when you’re fulfilling your longtime dream? Congrats then!
