It’s another wedding from the American Idol’s alumni team!

This time, it’s LaKisha Jones from last year’s American Idol who had the joyful day. On Sunday, Kiki married financial adviser Larry Davis at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The couple exchanged their vows witnessed by 50 family and friends, including several of Kiki’s season-six AI castmates; Haley Scarnato, Melinda Doolittle, Gina Glocksen and Sanjaya Malakar.

The 28-year-old bride looked stunning in a strapless Alfred Angelo gown, custom crystal-encrusted shoes by Stuart Weitzman and diamond earrings, necklace and bracelet by Neil Lane. The wedding was very entertaining, with jokes from the minister, Dr. Ed Montgomery of Houston. Jones punctuated the ceremony with laughter during a vow that included the phrase “for richer or less richer.” And then the minister add another joke, saying, “Pay attention. What I’m about to say is very important: We’ll have the results right after these messages”.

The pair then shared a wedding kiss, for more than 10 seconds after Montgomery pronounced them husband and wife. Kiki’s 5-year-old daughter Brionne, served as flower girl and cried as she walked down the aisle throwing petals from a black and white basket.

Her fellow AI castmates, shared their comments. The ‘ponyhawk’, Sanjaya Malakar said, “I’m just so happy for her. I’m happy for her future, I’m happy for her daughter [that] they can be a family. It’s all that I could ever wish for her.” While Melinda Doolittle tells the reason that makes Davis the right match for Jones, “He absolutely loves her, and she adores him.” The couple will go to beautiful island of Barbados for their honeymoon.

A couple months ago, it was Ruben Studdard who tied the knot with the girl of his dream. Let’s pray there will be another alum follows the aisle path. Congrats for Kiki and her new husband!
