Jason Priestley Will Join 90210 TV Series

One of the hunks from Beverly Hills 90210, Jason Priestley is reportedly returning to his old zip code.

Fans were hoping the actor who played Brandon Walsh back in the old days will be coming back, just like his fellow former girlfriend, Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth) and sister Brenda Walsh (Shannen Doherty). But apparently he’s not interested in the offer as Brandon.

Well, although Priestley won’t be playing a role in the new and improved 90210 series, but according to the network, he will get behind the cameras and direct an episode of the new CW series. At least, that’s a participation. Sources said that he will helm the 18th episode to air this spring. Who knows, after directing, Priestley might got tempted to act again, right? *crossing my fingers*

And talking about the old cast, after appearing in the early episodes of 90210 along with Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty is also reportedly making a deal to return to the series for two more episodes later this season.

A source said, “She’s coming back. The deal isn’t officially done, but it’s happening.” Meanwhile, the show’s executive producer Gabe Sachs wasn’t confirming anything, he just said that Doherty is “in talks”. Sachs shared his thoughts when asked about the possibility of Priestley direct any of the episodes that will feature Doherty, “I think it would be a kick for Jason to work with any of his (former 90210 costars.) But we don’t know whether that will happen yet”.
