Mark Wahlberg Is Getting Married?

Being a father probably changes the way Mark Wahlberg sees family life.

One of the detectives from “The Departed,” Mark Wahlberg was reported (finally) set to tie the knot with longtime girlfriend and the mother of his children, Rhea Durham. On a Sunday press conference at the premiere of his new movie, “Max Payne”, Wahlberg told medias about the couple’s wedding plan. As he said at Graumann’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, “We’re talking about getting married in August.” And when asked why choose the month of August, Wahlberg said, “It’s a good month”.

Wahlberg and Durham have been together since 2001. The couple are blessed with three children; Ella Rae (born September 2, 2003), Michael (born March 22, 2006) and Brendan Joseph (born September 16, 2008). Although 37-year-old Wahlberg had announced the month for the big event, but no dates has been set. “We’re not inviting yet”, Walhberg added.

Wahlberg took the lead role in his latest movie, “Max Payne”, that was based on the blockbuster video game of the same name. The movie told a story about a New York City DEA agent who seeks revenge upon those who are responsible for the brutal slaying of his wife and his partner. Alongside Mila Kunis, Chris O’Donnell and Beau Bridges, mega action “Max Payne” will hit the theaters October 17.

That movie will be on my list then, and the wedding plan got my support 100%! because I’m pretty sure that both are such great parents, but it must be nicer when they are legally wed. Congrats for the plan both!
