The Grammy-winning singer opened the show with Pleasure Principle, followed by What Have You Done for Me Lately, an old hits. Soon after, she sang her latest single, Feedback. The two-hour, high-energy show went smoothly, but Jackson did appear winded at times.
An audience praised her by saying that her performance was perfect, Janet didn’t appeared that she was sick before. The audience added that the Black Cat singer can still do it at 42 years old. While Jackson’s manager, Kenneth Crear, said in a statement, “She’s a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans the show they expect. She’s feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again to finish the tour.” At the end of the show, while crying tears of joy, Jackson told the crowd, “I love you D.C. so much.”
Following her show in Washington, D.C. yesterday, Jackson will perform another eight dates, including a concert on November 1 in New York City, as said by the singer’s representatives. He also added that new dates for shows in Montreal, Boston, Philadelphia, Greensboro in North Carolina, Fort Lauderdale in Florida, and Uncasville in Connecticut will soon be announced.
