Nick Hogan is Free From Jail

After serving 166 days in jail, Nick Bollea a.k.a Nick Hogan, son from tv star and professional wrestler Hulk Hogan, is breathing the air of freedom.

On Tuesday morning, 18-year-old Hogan walked out of the Pinellas County jail in Clearwater, Florida as a free man. He got released three months early of an eight-month sentence for causing a serious traffic crash due to ‘good time’ credit . Hogan flashed a peace sign as he left the facility at 12:30 a.m, picked up by his sister, Brooke. He had no comment for reporters.

Hogan had pleaded no contest in May to causing the car crash in August 2007, which injured his friend 22-year-old John Graziano. Authorities said Hogan raced through a busy street and crashed his father’s car, making Graziano ended up very badly injured -especially since Graziano didn’t wear a seatbelt-. Both were rushed to the hospital. The eye and brain injuries Graziano sustained are the sad reality that will put him in a nursing home the rest of his life.

Hogan could have faced five years behind bars, but Graziano’s family requested a lesser sentence. And following Hogan’s release, Graziano’s family will file a civil lawsuit for damages against the Hogans. The most important lesson from the accident is that hopefully Nick could learn from his mistakes, and didn’t repeat it again. Blessed you Nick!
