Toni Braxton Voted Off From Dancing With The Stars TV Show

It looks like dancing days competition for Toni Braxton is over.

The Un-break My Heart singer and her professional partner, Alec Mazo, were eliminated yesterday night from ABC’s popular dancing competition show, Dancing With The Stars. The pair received a score of 22 out of 30 from the show’s judges during Monday’s performance after a respectable West Coast swing routine. The score was later combined with viewer votes, sadly to say, couldn’t help Braxton and Mazo getting through to next week’s competition.

After her departure, 41-year-old Braxton said that “My goal was reached. I wanted to do better. I wanted to breathe better. And I was definitely breathing better. I’ve come a long way from Week One to Week Now.” While her partner, the handsome Mazo commented, “I had a great time this season. Toni proved a lot; we had a lot of fun. I’m sad it’s over now.”

Before Braxton, the show that is now in seventh season already eliminated Chef Rocco DiSpirito, reality TV star Kim Kardashian, actor Ted McGinley and comedian Jeffrey Ross. Celebrities remaining in the competition include TV personality Brooke Burke; former singer of boyband ‘NSync Lance Bass; former NFL star Warren Sapp; Olympic gold medalist Maurice Greene; actor Cody Linley; and actresses Cloris Leachman and Susan Lucci.
