Taylor Momsen is in Recovery Process of Throat Infection

Our Jenny Humphrey is having serious issue on her throat! It has nothing to do with her dad Rufus, though.

Gossip Girl actress Taylor Momsen has been hospitalized in Los Angeles since Sunday with a life-threatening throat infection. According to the actress’s doctor Shawn Nasseri, “With these kinds of infections the throat can swell and it can close up the throat to dangerous levels. But she is doing beautifully. She has pretty much made a full recovery.”

As an excellent patient, Nasseri -who is an ear, nose and throat specialist- said that 15-year-old Momsen has been responding positively to antiobiotics and other medicines and should be feeling much better in three to five days. A statement released by the CW network saying, Momsen is expected to return to the New York City set of the popular series by the end of the week. A rep for the network said that “Taylor Momsen is a beloved member of our Gossip Girl cast and we are happy to report she is on the road to a speedy recovery. We all look forward to her planned return to work on Friday.”

Thank God Momsen escapes the dangerous ill! We’ll be waiting for the healthy Jenny Humphrey back on GG. Get well soon Taylor!
