It looks like husband of Alyson Hannigan will have his own story to tell about ‘how I met your mother’, about nine months from now.

Yes, that’s because according to Hannigan’s rep, Megan Moss, the actress who played the role of Lily Aldrin in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother is pregnant. 34-year-old Hannigan and her 42-year-old husband, actor Alexis Denisof are expecting their first child this spring. The gender of the baby hasn’t been told yet, but the couple were reportedly very happy about the news.

The couple met when the actor joined the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, back in 1999. They tied the knot with a three-day celebration at the Two Bunch Palms resort near Palm Springs in 2003. Hannigan is one of the cast of CBS famous sitcom, How I Met Your Mother, currently in fourth season. Denisof had several appearances as guest star on the sitcom too. Previously, she is also famous for her role as band geek Michelle opposite Jason Biggs in the American Pie trilogy.
