Happy news from the frontman of Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl. He and his wife are expecting a second child in the family.

39-year-old vocalist and his wife have been blessed with the presence of their daughter, Violet Maye, who was born April 2006. The couple are very busy now as parents, but loving the new job so much. As they shared their parenthood moments on an interview last year, “We don’t talk about how much we drank last night [anymore]. [Now] it’s how much sleep we got, how much sleep the baby got, diaper rash, formula. We used to go on the road for three months at a time. It’s a struggle for me to leave for even 12 days. I realized the life I always imagined beginning once the band ended has to begin now.”

The former drummer of Nirvana has been married twice. He was first married to Jennifer Youngblood. Grohl had several relationship with musician ladies, but then met Jordyn Blum and got married for the second time. The pair had a simple wedding ceremony at their home in Los Angeles, on August 2, 2003. His latest music step was that Grohl and his bandmate has released Foo Fighters’s sixth studio album entitled Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace September last year. He also involved as a special guest for other artist’s concert, such as Paul McCartney’s concert last June.

Back on family life, Grohl also shared something cute about Violet’s music taste. He said that his daughter loves the Amy Winehouse record, and if she hears the lyrics ‘Try to make me go to rehab,’ Violet will go, ‘No no no.’ A little weird, but also very cute indeed. Hmm… but maybe Grohl’s next child would be more into Foo Fighters music? Yes yes yes…
