Victoria Beckham is the New Face of Armani Underwear

Victoria Beckham will soon be seen in underwear, just like her husband David. The singer-turn-fashionista has just been named as the face of Emporio Armani’s underwear line.

Yap, the Posh Spice has been chosen to follow her soccer star husband’s footsteps of becoming an underwear model for the same fashion brand. Her images won’t be released until February next year, but Armani had announced that the spring/summer 2009 women’s campaign was shot by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

Remember this BOLD ad? The steamy campaign featured the sexy captain of British’s football team flexing his underwear-clad physique across a bed and on the beaches of Malibu. The images also provoked major Internet debates on whether his manhood was real or enhanced. All his images was also by Alas and Piggot, taken as David began modeling the men’s line last year.

The ads were an immediate success, as it was predicted. Hmm… will Victoria’s ads have the same effect? will it be as steamy as David’s? we’ll just have to wait and see. Well well well… husband and wife, doing commercial together and almost naked. Both tempting, but I think I’ll choose the husband. Gosh, I’m so drooling over his Malibu picture right now.
