Keanu Reeves can have a breath of relief now. Phewww…

Neo in The Matrix trilogy, Keanu Reeves, was found not responsible on Monday for a paparazzo’s purported injuries. Photographer Alison Silva claimed he was struck by the actor’s car, injured his wrist in March 2007 when he was trying to take pictures of Reeves leaving a house in his Porsche in the affluent Ranchos Palos Verdes area of Los Angeles. Silva was seeking damages of about $711,974 for medical bills and past and future lost earnings.

44-year-old Reeves testified last week that he did not knock the photographer down to avoid having his picture taken, saying the man stumbled and fell while walking backward from the car. During a five-day civil trial in Los Angeles, and after deliberating for less than three hours, jurors unanimously rejected the civil lawsuit, Reeves was cleared.

With this decision, Silva told reporters outside the Los Angeles County Superior Court that he respected the jury’s decision, that’s what he and his lawyer team were there since the beginning. He also said that he would continue to work as a paparazzo despite the jury’s decision, and would later keep taking Keanu’s snapshoot.

Well, congrats for the outcome of the trial Keanu!
