Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

Four members of the zoo and their friends has captured our hearts, once again.

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, a movie to have a great laugh while watching stranded zoo animals trying to get back to where they were came from, debuting this week with awesome numbers. The movie which is a sequel of 2005’s animation movie Madagascar, had a $63.5 million debut, according to studio estimates Sunday.

It had far surpassed the $47.2 million debut for Madagascar over Memorial Day weekend in 2005. Its three-day total also beat the $61 million gross the first movie took in over that full four-day holiday weekend. Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippopotamus from Madagascar 2 beats the third installment of High School Musical, respectively. The movie had Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer and Jada Pinkett Smith as the four main ‘animal’ stars. The late Bernie Mac providing vocals as Zuba, the father of Ben Stiller’s Alex the Lion.

The Universal Pictures comedy Role Models, starring Seann William Scott and Paul Rudd, is following in second place. The movie portraits both Scott and Rudd as immature adults sentenced to community service as mentors for two misfit youths. While on the chart, HSM3 dropped two places to number 3.

Here are the complete top ten movies in the box office:

Madagascar Escape 2 Africa after ace age it was the best animation movie for me. And for sure for most of the people very few dream characters like Alex. What I like about the movie
Madagascar Escape 2 Africa was it built open its story. Not much action added apart from the basic story. Picture quality of the movie was out standing. It was the movie any body would love to fall in love with. I saw the movie online with http://www.80millionmoviesfree.com which favors me superior entertainment

Have anything to say?
