Paris Hilton and Benji Madden Separated!

Another couple goes to splitsville. It’s Paris Hilton and Benji Madden.

The hotel heiress and TV personality, Paris Hilton, had split up from her boyfriend, rocker Benji Madden. They have been together for nine months. The news was spread out by Hilton’s publicist Alanna McCarthy on Wednesday, said that the two “remain very good friends.” There’s no further explanation about the split, but a source close to Hilton said, “She is saddened by the breakup but they’re just too different and they wanted different things in life. He was loyal and sweet but it was time to take a break.”

The 27-year-old socialite were always with Madden everywhere he goes since they started dating. She even joined Madden when he toured with his rock band, Good Charlotte. 29-year-old Madden plays guitar in the band, while his identical twin brother, Joel, is the lead singer. The former couple were also once photographed wearing rings with each other’s initials, pictures that later sparked engagement rumors.

Hmmm… no wonder Paris was photographed getting cozy with ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos at nightspot Mokai in Miami last weekend. Does she looking for an old time friend/lover for a calming moment?
