Cody Herpin and Jodie Sweetin Are Now Seperated

Life is getting harder for Full House alumni and new mom, Jodie Sweetin.

Last Wednesday, the actress who played Stephanie Tanner in the famous tv series filed papers in Orange County, California, for legal separation from husband Cody Herpin. Sweetin lists the date of separation as Tuesday – the day before papers were filed – and cites as the cause the standard “irreconcilable differences.” She also asks that Herpin pay the legal costs.

Although Sweetin was only a few months ago gave birth to their daughter, it looks like the reality doesn’t stop her heading to splitsville. Sweetin’s rep, Stella Alex, says the 26-year-old actress is “absolutely clean” and that the couple have “come to this path in their life and she felt like this is the way she had to go. Jodie says it’s unfortunate but it’s just what has to happen right now. No more detail, only because she says she doesn’t want to be disrespectful to him.”

While on the other hand, Herpin said that “I was dumbfounded. Over this past month something has been different. I’m concerned about our daughter and I just want (Zoie) home.” Herpin also said that Sweetin left their home and took their 7-month-old girl.

Sweetin married Herpin in Las Vegas on July 14, 2007, after just two months of dating. The couple’s daughter Zoie Laurelmae was born on April 12, 2008. Sweetin and Herpin had announced that they were working on a reality show together, but apparently…, the bitter reality had came sooner.

Well, may this separation be the best decision for both…
