Chris Brown Took Home Three American Music Awards Prizes

Chris Brown - Artist of the Day on American Music Awards 2008!
This year’s American Music Awards has crowned R&B singer Chris Brown as Artist of The Year! Hooray!
The 19-year-old R&B heartthrob was the big winner on Sunday event, brought home three prizes. Brown was honored to be favorite male artist in both the pop/rock and soul/R&B categories, but the ultimate honor came when he got the award’s top honor, Artist of The Year.
Backstage at the Nokia Theater, Brown -who was clearly shock- said about his winning, “I probably was shocked like everybody else. I know everybody was like, ‘Huh?’ I thought Coldplay should have genuinely won that award, but I’ll take it!”
Two years ago, Brown was nominated for Favorite Soul/R&B Male Artist category in the same award, but he didn’t win. Other awards he won this year is Best Male R&B Artist from BET Awards, and Best Male Video in MTV VMA, for the song With You.
Looks like Chris Brown had the best year ever! Congrats Chris, we’re happy for you!
