Tumor Alert for Toni Braxton

Toni Braxton
It’s a relieve for Toni Braxton.
On Wednesday, a rep for sexy singer Toni Braxton, David Brokaw said that the singer (and now a dancer) had a benign tumor removed from her breast after she was eliminated from this past season’s Dancing with the Stars.
Apparently, the benign tumor was removed from her breast on October 21, just almost a week before the finale of the reality show.
41-year-old Braxton knew she had a growth in her breast before starting the ballroom dancing competition on DWTS, but she decided to go on after doctors told her it was probably benign.
So when she got eliminated, the Un-Break My Heart singer said, “Getting the boot on the show was actually a blessing in disguise for me. My grandmother on my dad’s side died of breast cancer, and I have aunts on both sides that have breast cancer.”
Beside having this benign tumor, when Braxton competing on the show, she was dealing with a heart condition called microvascular angina, which involves poor functioning of blood vessels that nourish the heart and can cause breathing problems.
But her condition won’t stop her from keep on dancing. Braxton is scheduled to appear on the Dancing With the Stars tour, which begins Dec. 17 in San Diego. Braxton’s future album, Pulse, is also still in progress, planned to be released next year.
Apparently, nothing can bring her activeness down. Go Toni!
