Rehab Time for Tara Reid

Tara Reid apparently needs to have a treatment for her inner self (or for her addiction?).

According to publicist Jack Ketsoyan, the American Pie actress has checked herself into rehab. The facility is named Promises Treatment Center in Malibu. Ketsoyan also added, “We appreciate your respect to her and her family’s privacy at this time.” Ketsoyan did not specify what Reid is being treated for or when she entered the facility, and no other details were forthcoming.

A friend of Reid agreeing the publicist, saying that Reid headed to the treatment facility with full support. “Her friends and family are supportive of her decision. She checked in herself – it was her decision.”

33-year-old Reid was known as a troubled actress, a drunken partier to be exact. She was once making headlines with her being photographed on a red carpet with her breast exposed, apparently unaware -because she have had too much to drink- that the strap of her dress had fallen off. Her personal life and other cases of her lifestyle gained Reid much more headlines than her career over the last few years.

She is still involved in acting field, although she’s not much to be seen. She also had spread her wings to other opportunities. Reid was once hosted the short-lived, half-hour show on E!, titled Taradise. She started her own clothing line too, called Mantra, not so long ago. Reid will soon be seen in a horror flicks, Viper.
